the pool was ok
The staff were extremely rude. If you asked for a drink of water at breakfast it was like telling them to rub oil on my body. The only staff members I Iiked were the ones that were gardening. No-one smiled the five days we were there.

The staff at Basiliani - Cdshotels were amazing and provided us with a warm welcome and a courtesy welcome drink. We were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. the property had a spa onsite and offered a boat tour of the harbor, which was awesome. the location was good, allowing us to walk into Otranto easily. the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the aesthetic of the hotel was peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the nice pool area. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the fact that the hotel had facilities and amenities that catered to our diet.
Felt more than at home, no complaint.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk away from the city center and local cafes. It was also close to a nearby beach, making it easy for us to enjoy the sea. the room was comfortable with a great view overlooking olive groves. the service was impeccable and breakfast was fresh and tasty. the hotel had some great facilities like a huge, beautiful pool.
One night we were disturbed by some noise from the neighboring room, which wasn't well insulated.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with a peaceful atmosphere. The location was great, just a short walk to the city center of Otranto. The pool area was lovely, with spaced-out benches and good cocktails. The food in the restaurant was delicious and well-presented. The senior members of staff at reception and the restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The spa, while limited, had a lovely heated pool/jacuzzi section.
